Every event becomes a star.
A party, a chess tournament, three days of surfing: Ephemeria brings together everything that happens on your campus. You find the event, you take your place, you live it without posting anything. At 11:00, once the event is over, the album opens for everyone who was there, and the memory joins your Sky.
For students aged 18 and over, with a university email address.
The arc above is computed, not drawn: it is the real night of 15–16 October 2026 near Paris, 13 h 29 min of darkness. Its apex falls at solar midnight, 01:37, not at midnight.
For everything you live together
A party, a chess tournament, three days of surfing.
Ephemeria isn’t only for going out. A talk, a match, a concert, a workshop, a museum trip, an induction weekend or a surf retreat: every event on your campus has its place, whether it lasts two hours or three days.
Your interests
When you sign up, you say what you love, what you study and where you’re heading. Your profile shows it, and your school’s communities form around your class, your studies and your passions.
The people who were there
Before an event, you see who has said “I’m going” publicly. Afterwards, the album gathers photos from everyone who was there, each signed by its author.
Your memories
Every event you live becomes a star in your Sky. A year on campus, remembered, with no counters and no rankings.
One event
Before, during, and at 11:00.
Before
You take your place.
Parties, tournaments, talks, matches, trips, weekends away: everything your school’s associations and clubs put on, in one place. One tap to book, and your ticket waits for you in the app.
During
You live the moment.
No feed to scroll, nothing to post. Depending on the event, your ticket is scanned at the door or you confirm you were there yourself. The rest of the time, your phone can stay in your pocket.
11:00
The album opens.
At 11:00, once the event is over, photos from everyone who was there form the Nebula, published all at once. And the event becomes a star in your Sky.
The Nebula
One event’s album, at the scale of time.
Each photo sits at the minute it was taken. A quiet hour stays a quiet hour: the timeline follows real time, not the number of pictures, whether the event lasts two hours or three days. Slide your finger along the arc and the whole event scrolls by.
- Everything is published together at 11:00, once the event is over. Nothing leaks during it, not even to the person who took the photo.
- Only people allowed to open the album can see it. Every photo carries its author’s name.
- Spot yourself in a photo? One gesture, “this is me, hide it”, takes it off your screen at once and blocks it while we review your request.
- After the event, the app suggests the photos you took during it. Nothing is sent without your say-so.

The Minute
One photo, ninety seconds, once.
At free-entry events, at a minute nobody knows in advance, every phone buzzes once. You have 90 seconds to take a photo in the app, wherever you are. It goes straight into the Nebula, sealed until 11:00.
Missing it costs nothing: no counter, no reminder, no second chance during the event. You don’t have to watch your phone.
Your Sky
Your year, in stars.
Every event where your attendance is confirmed becomes a star. It is placed by the hour and the season you lived it: the same season comes back to the same place year after year, and your sky fills in as the years go by.
Link your memories into constellations and name them; the name is sealed at 11:00 the next morning. No totals, no percentages, no rankings: your Sky is never compared with anyone else’s.
Examples computed for the sky over the Paris region.
Tickets
Your ticket in the app. Zero commission.
- Free or paid, your named ticket and its QR code live in the app.
- For a paid event, you pay by card, or with Apple Pay where your device supports it, on Stripe’s secure payment page. Your ticket arrives as soon as the payment is confirmed.
- The association sells its own tickets: Ephemeria takes no commission and adds no fees.
- Can’t make it? Transfer your ticket for free to another student on your campus, until the event starts.
Our principles
What Ephemeria refuses to do.
No ads.
No banners, no sponsored content, no selling or renting your data.
No tracking.
No analytics SDK, no advertising ID. One usage measure only: one line per day you open the app.
No rankings.
No totals, no counters, no comparison, anywhere a memory is involved.
No feed during the event.
Photos stay sealed until 11:00. You can put your phone down.
No strangers.
For people aged 18 and over with a university address. Students from other universities can’t see you.
No hidden anonymity.
Every photo, every post and every constellation name carries its author. Only the Class Sky is anonymous, by design.
It is all explained in the privacy policy.
Associations
Do you run events?
Student unions, societies, clubs, associations: one app for all of it. Create the event, sell or give out tickets with no commission through your own Stripe account, scan at the door with your co-organisers, and find the album afterwards.
Who can join?
Students aged 18 and over, with the university email address of a school open on Ephemeria. Schools open one after another.
Is it free?
Yes. No subscription, no in-app purchase. A paid event costs the price the association sets, with no Ephemeria commission.
Does Ephemeria know where I am?
No. Your attendance is confirmed by a ticket scan or by your own confirmation, never by your location. The map uses your location only while the app is open, and never in the background.
